SECURITY & BAG POLICY
Fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible (and without bags or unnecessary items, if possible) to get through the enhanced security screening procedures at the entrances so they can make it to their seats before tip-off. Here are three frequently asked questions with answers about security screening and entering CHI Health Center Omaha for Creighton games:
Question: How do I get through the security line quicker?
Answer: ARRIVE EARLY! Security measures are improving to keep you safer and in order to get fans into games on time please arrive as early as possible and avoid bringing any unnecessary bags or items. For Creighton games, venue doors open 90 minutes prior to tip-off and lines can get bogged down with last minute arrivals so budgeting extra time for security can help ensure you have plenty of time to get in, find your seats and not miss any of the game.
Question: Is there an express lane if I don't have a bag to check?
Answer: YES! For those without a bag to be checked there are express lanes at both the main entrance (Convention Center Grand Hall, just north of the ticket lobby escalators) and the Capitol Avenue (10th and Capitol) entrance for Creighton games. All express lane patrons will still have to empty their pockets and be cleared with a walk through metal detector.
Question: When will I need a clear bag and what are the rules?
Answer: Not until December 31, 2017. Clear, colorless plastic tote-bags or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar) will be required. Additionally, opaque small or clutch-sized purses/wallets will be allowed, not exceeding 4.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches long, after proper security screening. Also please note that Creighton men's basketball season ticket account holders will receive a Bluejay-branded clear bag in the mail prior to December 31. All prohibited items will need to be returned to vehicles. A full list of Guest Services Policy including the prohibited items list can be found at CHI Health Center Omaha can be found here.
