Baseball Crosses Country to Face UC Davis this Weekend

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Baseball team hopes to remain hot at the plate as the Bluejays head west this weekend to face UC Davis in a three-game series.

Creighton comes off an opening series against the defending Colonial Athletic champions Northeastern. After scoring the second-most runs (15) on an opening day game in Servais' tenure, the Bluejays fell short in the next two contests.
At the plate, Clark Brinkman has gotten off to a blazing start, hitting .538 in the opening series against Northeastern. His team-leading six RBI has helped Creighton's offense put up an average
of 8.3 runs per contest.
