Impact of the Final Weekend
The final two games of the 2017-18 regular-season carry significant weight for the Bluejays as well as the Hoyas.
Sharing a BIG EAST Title: While the chances are remote, two Creighton victories and two losses from both DePaul as well as Marquette would vault Creighton into a share of the BIG EAST championship for the second consecutive season.
BIG EAST Seedings: The Bluejays enter the weekend in third place in the conference. Even with a share of the BIG EAST title, Creighton can finish no higher than as the No. 3 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament. However, the Bluejays could drop as low as the No. 5 seed, pending the outcome of games on Friday and Sunday.
Georgetown enters the weekend as the No. 6 seed in the BIG EAST tournament. Like the Bluejays, the Hoyas cannot climb any higher, but could fall to No. 7.
Postseason Implications: Creighton enters the weekend fighting for contention as a bubble team in the NCAA Tournament. Some bracketologist have the Bluejays in, others do not. Road games at Georgetown and Villanova will strongly impact Creighton's chances.
Georgetown, meanwhile, are fighting for its postseason life. Entering the weekend at 12-14, the Hoyas must finish the season at .500 or better to qualify for postseason consideration.
Preview of the BIG EAST Tournament: If the season ended prior to this weekend, Creighton and Georgetown would meet in the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Tournament as the No. 3 and No. 6 seeds. Regardless of Friday's outcome, there is a strong chance the two teams will see each other again next week.

season. During her two years at Creighton, Aimee played in 28 games, collecting 19 points in 93 minutes.

Keys Against Georgetown
- Ball Security: Creighton cannot allow the Hoyas defense to create chaos and easy points for their offense.
- Rebound: Georgetown has consistently been a mathchup concern for Creighton due to their ability to score in the post. The Bluejays must control Petke (10.0 rpg) and Belk down low.
- Slow Down White: The reigning BIG EAST player of the Week, Dionna White averaged 30 points per game against DePaul and Marquette last week.
