Ishimura finished the final two days of Creighton's trip to Florida with an unblemished 3-0 record
Ishimura finished the second half of Creighton's spring break trip to Florida with a 3-0 showing during No. 1 singles and doubles play. The junior paired with Michaela Henne for a 6-3 at No. 1 doubles before earning a straight-sets victory by dropping only two games (6-2, 6-1) during the top singles match against Niagara on March 7. She also claimed a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles against Hampton during the Bluejays' final match in Florida.
The Hawaii native, has won seven consecutive singles matches as Creighton is 10-4 overall after a perfect 5-0 week (March 5-8) in Orlando, Florida, and has won seven of its last eight.
Creighton is back in action at home against South Dakota on March 21.Â
