April Snow Forecast Forces Cancellation of BIG EAST Opening Series with Butler

Omaha, Neb. -- Due to forecasts that call for at least 1-3 inches of snow on Friday, temperatures near freezing on Saturday and more snow on Sunday, Creighton and Butler Baseball mutually agreed to cancel their BIG EAST opening series this weekend.
Prior to cancelling the series, attempts were made to move the series to a neutral site or to Indianapolis. Unfortunately neither was possible.
The games will not be made up. Following Creighton's victory over Kansas State last night the Bluejays are 17-6 on the season and are scheduled to return to the diamond on Tuesday, April 10 at home against South Dakota State. First pitch for that contest is slated for 6:30 pm.
Tickets for this weekend's cancelled games can be exchanged for any remaining regular season home games by logging on to your MyCreighton account. Please use this link to view our digital guide on how to exchange your tickets online.

Tickets can also be redeemed at the Creighton Ticket Office located inside the Ryan Athletic Center (open 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays) or at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha Box Office on game days only starting one hour prior to first pitch.
