Volleyball Tour Wraps Up In Prague

Bluejays spent 12 days learning and travelling together
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton volleyball team has wrapped up its trip to Europe, which started on June 10 and lasted 11 days before the team returned home on June 21.
The team spent multiple nights in Venice (Italy), Maribor (Slovenia), Budapest (Hungary), and Prague (Czech Republic) with day trips to Bled (Slovenia) and Vienna (Austria) also on the docket. The student-athletes on the team prepared for the trip with a class being taught by Faculty Athletic Representative Dr. Neil Norton.
The trip called for the team to play five matches while abroad (June 13, 14, 15, 17, 20), including several against national teams, but also have plenty of adventures off the court to enhance and enrich the experience of the student-athletes and staff. Creighton will take 15 current student-athletes on the trip, including all seven of its newcomers.

NCAA rules permit one foreign tour every four years. Creighton's last trip in 2014 saw the team travel to Nicaragua.
