John C. Johnson was a men's basketball player from 1975-79 and currently ranks 12th on the all-time scoring list at Creighton. Johnson had 1,526 points in 105 games. He averaged 14.5 points per game in his career, with a career record of 73-36. He was selected First Team All-District Five (USBWA), First Team All-District Twelve (NABC), and 2nd Team All-Missouri Valley Conference. 1978-79 Creighton Team Co-MVP, and selected in the Seventh Round of the NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets.
