Neneman came to Creighton as the reigning Miss Nebraska Basketball from Omaha North High School. In her four years at the University, she established herself as one of the greatest players in MVC history. She earned All-Freshman Team honors her first season, notching 19 points and eight rebounds in her first career start. She continued her success becoming only the second sophomore to be named MVC Player of the Year. She repeated the honor in 2003, one of only four players in conference history to earn the honor more than once. Â
As a junior, she guided the Jays to the Women's NIT Final Four. Then she led her team to the WNIT Championship in 2004, earning the tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Neneman finished her career at Creighton with 1,732 points, which remains the fourth best in the school's history. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelors of arts in psychology.
