
Ethan Finlay Named Academic All-District First-Team

OMAHA, Neb. – Sophomore Ethan Finlay of the Creighton men's soccer team has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII First-Team as voted on by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The forward owns a 3.31 cumulative grade point average in an undeclared field of study.
Finlay, from Marshfield, Wis., currently leads the Bluejays with six goals and 15 points, ranking second in the Missouri Valley Conference in goals and points per game. His four game-winning goals lead the team and the MVC, while he now has eight career game-winning goals among his 12 career scores.
Finlay and the Bluejays (6-3-4) play host to No. 7 UCLA (9-2-2) Saturday afternoon. The Bruins' trip to Omaha will be their second in three years. CU and UCLA kickoff at Morrison Stadium at 3 p.m. on Halloween.
