
Men's and Women's Tennis Sweep Nebraska Wesleyan, 7-0, 7-0

OMAHA, Neb. - The Creighton men's and women's teams each won their match with Nebraska Wesleyan by identical scores of 7-0, Friday in Lincoln.
For the men, Kyle Obermeier delivered the most dominating performance of the day, defeating Eric Holmes of Nebraska Wesleyan, 6-1, 6-0. In doubles Jose Guerra and Bryan Lube had the most convincing win, defeating the Prairie Wolf duo of Michael Larsen and Drew Placket 8-1.
On the women's side, Tess Reddin did not surrender a point to her opponent Mikayla Albin, defeating her 6-0, 6-0. Reddin then teamed with Nicole Nakaoka to defeat the Prairie Wolf team of Albin and Lexie Zoucha, 8-0.
Leesa Cadwallader competed in her first singles match in over a month, defeating Rebecca Brown, 6-0, 6-0. Cadwallader is now 3-0 on the season in singles competition, all non-conference opponents.
The men's regular season has ended, and will compete next week in Omaha in the MVC Tournament. The women will return to competition Saturday at 1:00 p.m., in Des Moines, Iowa to take on Drake.
