Men's Tennis Ices Penquins, 5-2

LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Creighton men's tennis team won its third straight match in Florida with a 5-2 victory over Youngstown State on Tuesday evening, improving to 4-3 on the spring.

Creighton won the doubles point, getting victories at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots.

The Jays lost at both No. 4 and No. 5 singles and trailed in the match before winning the final four contests to take the match.

Harrison Lang won at No. 3 singles to even the match at 2-all. Alex Koca picked up a three-set win at No. 2 singles to give CU a 3-2 lead in the contest.

Quinn Dippel would seal the match victory with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-1 win over Youngstown State's Hugo Morth. Jake Glazer was also victorious for CU, winning his match at No. 6 singles in three sets via a tiebreaker.

The Bluejays return to the court on Wednesday when it takes on Norfolk State at 11 am Central.
