OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team remained a season-best ninth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll that was published on Monday.

This is the 14th time in program history that Creighton has made it into the top-10, and school-record ninth consecutive week in a row. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

Creighton held steady after a pair of 3-0 road sweeps last weekend, defeating both St. John's and Seton Hall.

Creighton (22-4, 14-0 BIG EAST) is 80-21 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll, including a 30-4 mark at home. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 48 all-time polls, and are one of 11 clubs to be ranked in each of the last 34 editions. The Bluejays have been in every poll since Oct. 31, 2016.

BYU remained in the top spot in the national rankings with 52 first-place votes. Stanford held steady at No. 2 and is followed in the top-five by Minnesota, Illinois and Texas. Nebraska jumped two spots from eighth to sixth after wins over then-No. 7 Penn State and Rutgers last weekend.

Creighton improved one spot to a season-best No. 16 in the seventh official NCAA RPI of the season, climbing one line. Creighton owns four top-20 RPI wins, having defeated No. 8 Kentucky, No. 15 UNI and No. 18 Marquette (twice) this fall.

Creighton remained a season-best ninth in the VolleyMob.com poll.

The Bluejays start a four-match homestand to end the regular-season on Friday at 7 p.m. when it welcomes Georgetown to D.J. Sokol Arena.
