AVCA Top 25 Poll | NCAA Volleyball RPI

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team moved from 10th to 15th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll of the regular-season that was released on Monday, December 2nd. The drop comes after CU was upset in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championships on Friday by unranked St. John's.

Creighton, which earned an eighth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament last night, enters the postseason with a 24-5 record. The Bluejays won a sixth straight regular-season BIG EAST title on November 22nd, finishing league play with a 17-1 mark.

Baylor remained atop the poll, just ahead of Pitt and Stanford. Three teams picked up first place votes in this week's poll.

This week marks the 53rd consecutive week the Bluejays have been ranked, the nation's 10th-longest active streak. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 67 all-time polls, and every poll since Oct. 31, 2016. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

The Bluejays also moved from 17th to 20th in the ninth official RPI listings released by the NCAA.

Creighton is 111-27 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll. The Bluejays return to the court on Friday against Iowa State when it plays at 4:30 p.m., in Minneapolis, Minn.
