Faber Earns All-BIG EAST First Team

New York, N.Y. -- Creighton senior Audrey Faber earned her second career All-BIG EAST First Team selection on Wednesday, March 6th as the BIG EAST Women's Basketball honors were unveiled.
Also an All-BIG EAST First Team selection following the 2016-17 season, Faber enters the conference tournament fifth in career scoring for the Bluejays with 1,840 points. She is tied for the Bluejay record with 157 blocks, has collected 592 rebounds and dished out 302 assists. Carrying a larger load this season due to injuries to several teammates, Faber has topped double figures in points in 27 of the Bluejays' 29 games and led Creighton in scoring 18 times. She enters the BIG EAST Tournament averaging a team-high 17.0 points per game, is second in rebounding with 5.1 per game (147 overall) and is tied for the team-lead with 80 assists.
Faber and Creighton begin their run at the BIG EAST Championships on Sunday, March 10 as the sixth-seeded Bluejays battle the three-seed Butler at 8:30 pm.
