NET To Televise Two Volleyball Matches

CU matches vs. Nebraska and Wichita State will be broadcast.
OMAHA, Neb. -- A pair of 2019 Creighton Volleyball matches will be televised statewide by NET Television, it was announced on Monday, Aug. 19.
Creighton's season-opener at No. 2 Nebraska on Aug. 30 will be broadcast, as will CU's Sept. 19 home match vs. Wichita State. The contest against Wichita State will also have a free webcast available worldwide.
Creighton went 29-5 last season while winning a fifth straight BIG EAST regular-season and tournament title. This year's Bluejay team is ranked No. 18 in the AVCA preseason poll, the program's sixth preseason ranking in the last seven years.
Last fall's five-set match against Nebraska was also televised by NET and witnessed by 14,022 fans at CHI Health Center Omaha, the largest regular-season volleyball-only crowd in NCAA history.
