Men's Tennis Announces Addition Of Shin Inoue For Next Season

Inoue is a native of Osaka, Japan and recently trained in California
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's tennis head coach Tom Lilly announced the addition of Shin Inoue.
Inoue, a native of Osaka, Japan, is a four-star recruit according to the Tennis Recruiting Network and will join the Bluejay program beginning with the 2020-21 season.Â
"We are thrilled that Shin has chosen to come all the way from Japan," Lilly said. "He is our first player from Japan since Satoshi Ochi in the mid-nineties (class of 1997) who is now the head strength coach for top U.S. juniors at the USTA campus."
Shin did well his past two years training and competing in California, and we feel he will make an immediate impact."Â
Inoue's Universal Tennis Rating is listed at 11. He earned the 2018 Ramada Open Level 4 Boys' 16 Singles Championship in Claremont, California and trained at the Advantage Tennis Academy in Irvine, California.Â
Creighton opens the 2020 season on Jan. 18 at Iowa.Â
