Creighton Athletics Celebrates A Day for Jays

In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, Creighton University has reinvented its traditional Giving Day as A Day for Jays – a 24-hour opportunity to support students and student-athletes alike through these challenging times.
Today, Tuesday, May 12, Creighton alumni, fans, and donors are invited to support Bluejay student-athletes by making a gift to the Annual Athletics Scholarship Fund. This crisis brings additional urgency to the need for athletic scholarships, as many of our student-athletes and their families are facing great uncertainty and significant financial challenges as a result of this pandemic.

Additionally, A Day for Jays will celebrate the entire Creighton community. Virtual events will be held throughout the day including health and wellness classes, mass at St. John's Church, a conversation with Creighton President the Rev. Daniel S. Hendrickson, SJ, Bluejay Trivia and a conversation with Creighton Volleyball Head Coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth.
