Creighton volleyball's Jaela Zimmerman is the feature on this week's "Get To Know" video interview.
Zimmerman earned 2019 First Team All-BIG EAST honors. During BIG EAST play she ranked sixth in points per set (3.89) and seventh in kills per set (3.27). Zimmerman posted a career-high 18 kills and had 10 digs against No. 9 Marquette on Nov. 22 to help Creighton clinch the BIG EAST regular-season crown. She claimed MVP status of the Creighton Classic on Sept. 21 and earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors on Nov. 25 following the final weekend of the regular season. The Lincoln, Nebraska native was also named as an Honorable Mention All-American by VolleyballMag.com at season's end.Â
