Omaha, Neb. -- Women's tennis inked one player for the recruiting class of 2022 on national signing day, Wednesday, November 10, adding Ana Paula Martinez of Sunhills Valley High School in Queretaro, Mexico.Â
Martinez brings a lot to the table for the Bluejays, as she has experience in both singles and doubles and has played on multiple surfaces. Martinez has topped out at a world women's ranking of 1,723 and an International Tennis Federation Junior ranking of 561.
"Ana Paula has a lot of experience playing against very high level players on hard and clay courts," coach Tom Lilly said. "She has a big game and has had a lot success in both singles and doubles and we are looking forward to having her compete for us next season."
