Charles Auguste and Nathan Schnur Snag BIG EAST Weekly Awards

Auguste earned Offensive Player of the Week, while Schnur claimed Freshman of the Week honors
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's soccer junior midfielder Charles Auguste earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of Week, while Nathan Schnur claimed BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday afternoon.Â
Auguste recorded three points with a goal and an assist during the Bluejays' 3-0 victory over Xavier on Wednesday. The junior had an assist on the game-winning goal and scored Creighton's second goal of the match. Auguste ranks second on the team with six points from two goals and two assists this year.
Schnur recorded his first shutout of the year against the Musketeers. The Colorado native posted a pair of saves during his third victory of the season. Schnur has started six matches this season and owns a 1.45 goals against average during 559 minutes of action.
Senior defender Musa Qongo also made the weekly honor roll after helping the Bluejays limit Xavier to only two shots on goal despite giving up 13 corner kicks. He also added an assist on Auguste's goal.Â
Creighton concludes their home schedule on Friday at 6 p.m. against DePaul.Â
