Nebraska Public Media to Broadcast Two Volleyball Matches

Statewide network will air Oct. 8 (DePaul) and Oct. 10 (Marquette)
OMAHA, Neb. -- Nebraska Public Media will televise a pair of Creighton Volleyball home matches in October, the network announced on Monday.
Formerly known as NET, Nebraska Public Media will show Creighton's Oct. 8 match vs. DePaul at 6:30 p.m., as well as CU's match two days later on Oct. 10 vs. Marquette at 1 p.m. Both teams pushed Creighton to five sets last season at D.J. Sokol Arena, and the Bluejays have beaten Marquette for the BIG EAST Tournament title in three of the previous four seasons.
The matches will also be streamed free of charge at NebraskaPublicMedia.org, with Larry Punteney and Kathi Wieskamp calling the action.
Creighton opens its regular-season on Friday with matches at the Mizzou Invitational against Kansas City (10 a.m.) and Saint Louis (5 p.m.) before facing tournament host Missouri on Saturday at 3 p.m.
