Athletic Development Office Announces Staffing Updates

Creighton Athletics has announced the addition of Stephanie Kremla and promotion of Shelley Guthrie Gates in the Athletic Development Office
OMAHA, Neb. – Stephanie Kremla joins the staff as the Senior Coordinator of Athletic Development. She comes to Creighton University after serving as the Coordinator of Advancement Administration and Donor Relations at Creighton Preparatory High School in Omaha. In her role at Creighton Prep, she worked on the Advancement team, supporting the Vice President of Advancement while also overseeing donor relations logistics. Prior to that role, Stephanie served as the Director of Development at Jesuit Academy in Omaha.
As the Sr. Coordinator of Athletic Development, Stephanie will provide comprehensive programmatic and operational support for the Athletic Development Office. This includes assistance with logistics tied to the Jaybacker, major gifts and donor relations programs. Stephanie will also provide administrative support for the Assistant Vice President of Athletic Development position and development-based support for select Athletics Senior Leadership team members. Stephanie, an Omaha native, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Shelley Guthrie Gates has been promoted to the position of Associate Director of Athletic Donor Relations. She is entering her 7th year at Creighton University, after most recently serving as the Coordinator of Athletic Development where she played an integral role, supporting daily operations and logistics tied to Athletics' major gifts and donor relations programs.
In her new role, Gates will oversee the continued development and implementation of a comprehensive donor relations program for Athletics. This includes oversight of all Athletics donor events, the execution of a comprehensive cultivation and stewardship program, including premium seating operations and donor recognition programs.
