
Hannah Martin Named Assistant AD for Marketing and Fan Experience

OMAHA, Neb. -- Hannah Martin, the Director of Marketing at Xavier since 2018, has been named Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Experience at Creighton.
In her new role, Martin will provide strong vision, leadership, management, coordination, execution and oversight of the department's marketing unit. She will be responsible for creating a dynamic gameday environment for home events along with the development, implementation and maintenance of all marketing and promotions strategies as well as advertising that leads to increased visibility, competitive brand positioning and revenue generation for Creighton Athletics.
Martin started her Xavier career as marketing coordinator in July of 2014 before being promoted to assistant director for marketing in August of 2016. She had served as the school's director of marketing since September of 2018.Â
At Xavier, Martin was responsible for the marketing and advertising of the men's and women's basketball programs, coordinating game presentation for men's and women's basketball, oversight of Olympic sports marketing, managing digital and email marketing, supervision of the X-treme Fans student fan group and administering the marketing department's internship program. She also oversaw the Xavier pep band and Xavier cheer and mascot programs. Â
Prior to Xavier, Martin worked as a marketing intern for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Cincinnati native graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. While at Miami, she interned with the sports marketing department, where she assisted with the marketing efforts for women's basketball, volleyball and baseball.Â
