Nebraska Public Media to Broadcast Three Volleyball Matches

OMAHA, Neb. -- Nebraska Public Media will televise three Creighton Volleyball matches this fall, the network announced on Wednesday.

Formerly known as NET, Nebraska Public Media will show Creighton's road match at Baxter Arena against Omaha at 3 p.m. on Sept. 10th. That event is part of the Omaha Invite.

The NPM cameras will then head to D.J. Sokol Arena for matches on Sept. 25 vs. Villanova and Nov. 13 vs. Seton Hall. Both contests will begin at 1 p.m.

All three matches will also be streamed free of charge at NebraskaPublicMedia.org, with Larry Punteney and Kathi Wieskamp calling the action.

Nebraska Public Media will also air a preseason special previewing the Bluejays (and other teams from Nebraska) called State of Volleyball. That will air at 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, and will also be streamed at https://nebraskapublicmedia.org/en/watch/live/.

Creighton hosts an exhibition against South Dakota at 2 p.m. on Sunday before beginning its regular-season on Friday, Aug. 26 with matches in Laramie, Wyo., against Iowa State (11 a.m.) and Wichita State (6 p.m.) as part of the season-opening Rumble in the Rockies.
