Women's Hoops Announces BIG EAST Schedule

Omaha, Neb. -- Coming off an Elite Eight run in 2021-22, the Creighton Women's Basketball team will be featured seven times on national television as the Bluejays and the BIG EAST Conference announced the complete 2022-23 schedule on Monday, September 12.
Creighton plays once on Fox, three times on FS1 (Fox Sports 1), twice on SNY (SportsNet New York) and once on CBSSN (CBS Sports Network). The non-conference schedule remains the same, including home contests with Nebraska (Nov. 15), Drake (Dec. 10) and Arkansas (Dec. 17) as well as road games at South Dakota State (Nov. 7), at South Dakota (Nov. 10), at Northern Iowa (Nov. 20), at Omaha (Nov. 22) and concludes at Stanford (Dec. 20).
The BIG EAST slate starts with three consecutive road contests beginning in Cincinnati as the Bluejays face Xavier on Nov. 25 at 11:00 a.m. The following week Creighton travels to Villanova (Dec. 2) for a contest at 6:00 p.m., then to New York to face St. John's on Dec. 4 at 1:00 p.m.
After the non-conference schedule wraps up in December, BIG EAST action resumes with the home opener against Connecticut on Dec. 28 at 6:00 p.m. on SNY. Creighton closes out the year in Chicago as the Bluejays face DePaul on New Year's Eve at 3:00 p.m. on FOX.
January begins with four of five games in D.J. Sokol Arena starting on Jan. 4 at 6:00 pm against Providence. The Bluejays' ensuing four contests will be televised as Creighton's home game with Marquette on Jan. 8 at 6:00 p.m. will be on CBSSN. Home games with Seton Hall (Jan. 11 at 8:00 p.m.) and Villanova (Jan. 20 at 8:00 p.m.) as well as a road matchup at Butler (Jan. 14 at 3:00 p.m.) will be on FS1.
The opening month of 2023 concludes with road contests at Providence (Jan. 24 at 6:00 p.m.) and at Georgetown (Jan. 28 at 12:00 p.m.).
The final month of the regular season begins with three of four games at home against DePaul (Feb. 1 at 6:00 p.m.), St. John's (Feb. 4 at 1:00 p.m.) and Xavier (Feb. 12 at 1:00 p.m.). The road schedule takes the Bluejays to Seton Hall (Feb. 7 at 6:00 p.m.), Connecticut (Feb. 15 at 6:00 p.m.) and to Marquette (Feb. 22 at 7:00 p.m.).
Creighton's final pair of home contests bring Georgetown (Feb. 18 at 6:00 p.m.) and Butler (Feb. 27 at 6:00 p.m.) to Omaha.
The BIG EAST Tournament returns to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. from March 2-5.
