Creighton University Names MD West One "Official Orthopedic Doctors of Creighton Athletics" Through 2028

(Omaha, NE) October 2, 2023 - Creighton University has named MD West ONE the official orthopedic team doctors of Creighton Athletics. This partnership will allow Creighton student-athletes to have direct access to MD West ONE's orthopedic, sports medicine, neurosurgery and spine care.

MD West ONE has served the Creighton Athletic community for nearly 75 years covering athletic events, "We're excited to make this partnership official to better serve Creighton-student athletes and strengthen our relationship with the entire Creighton community; students, faculty, alumni and fans," said Dr. Kathleen Grier, official team doctor for Creighton Men's Basketball and Men's & Women's Track. Dr. Grier is a Board Certified Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Specialist at MD West ONE. Dr. Grier has been covering Creighton Athletic events since 2007.

MD West ONE has provided orthopedic medical coverage to Creighton Athletic events since 1949.

MD West ONE is the largest, most comprehensive orthopedic, sports medicine, neurosurgery and spine practice in the region and is comprised of 26 orthopedic specialists and eight neurosurgical spine specialists. MD West ONE prides itself on having the most fellowship trained specialists in the region, meaning they're additionally educated on treating a specific area of the musculoskeletal system.
