Women's Basketball Down One Spot to #21 in Both Polls

Omaha, Neb. -- Following a split of games last week, Creighton Women's Basketball slipped one spot in the current AP Poll as the Bluejays check in at No. 21 on Monday, December 18. The Bluejays dropped to No. 18 in the weekly NET rankings released by the NCAA and checked in at No. 21 as well in the USA Today/Coaches poll.
The Bluejays dropped a hard fought 76-70 contest at then No. 19 Marquette on Wednesday, then bounced back to defeat Drake 89-78 on the road on Sunday.

Three BIG EAST teams remain bundled within five spots in the AP Poll as Connecticut (7-3) leads the conference at No. 17, Marquette (11-0) sits at No. 18 and the Bluejays are tied at No. 21.

The Bluejays wrap up non-conference action on Thursday, December 21 as Creighton hosts South Dakota State at 6:00 p.m. in D.J. Sokol Arena.
