Women’s Soccer Unveils 2023 Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. -- Fresh off its second BIG EAST Semifinals appearance, Creighton women's soccer head coach Ross Paule announced the Bluejays 2023 schedule, which features nine matches inside Morrison Stadium and a loaded non-conference schedule.
Creighton's preseason schedule begins on August 5th as the Bluejays will offer fans a chance to watch its Blue vs. White Scrimmage, before traveling across town to face Omaha on Aug. 11 in the only tune-up game of the 2023 preseason.
The regular season begins with a pair of home matches as the Bluejays play host to in-state rival Nebraska on Aug. 17 for the first time since 2005, before taking on Missouri on Aug. 20.
The Bluejays' first match on the road in 2023 takes the squad south to face defending Atlantic 10 Conference champions Saint Louis on Thursday, Aug. 24. Saint Louis reached the first round of the NCAA Tournament, finishing with a 20-2 overall record.
Creighton will remain on the road for the next two matches as the Bluejays take on Kansas State on Aug. 27 and Drake on Sept. 3 before return home to battle Minnesota in Creighton's annual Socctoberfest match on Sept. 8.
The Bluejays return to the road to face North Dakota State on Sept. 10, before wrapping up non-conference play against South Dakota State on Sept. 15 in Omaha.
BIG EAST conference play begins on the road as Creighton travels to Connecticut on Sept. 15. The Bluejays return to the friendly confines of Morrison Stadium to close out the month of September with home matches against Georgetown (Sept. 24) and Marquette (Sept. 28).
Creighton opens play in October, making a trip out east to battle Providence on Oct. 1, before returning home to face St. John's on Thursday Oct. 5. The Bluejays will then travel to Philadelphia for a road match against Villanova on Oct. 8, before once again returning to Omaha for a contest against Seton Hall on Oct. 12.
Closing out the regular season with three more BIG EAST contests, the Bluejays kickoff the final stretch with a road trip to DePaul on Oct. 22. Creighton will then host Xavier on Oct. 22, before wrapping up the 2023 season with a trip to Indianapolis, Indiana to face Butler on Oct. 26.
The 2023 BIG EAST Women's Soccer Championships Presented by Jeep is scheduled to start on Sunday, October 29th with first round matchups, continues with semifinals on Thursday, November 2nd, and concludes with the title match on Sunday, November 5th.
