Morgan Maly Claims CSC Academic All-America Honors

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's basketball senior Morgan Maly's work on and off the court was acknowledged as the Crete native collected a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team on Tuesday, April 16.
On the court Maly led Creighton in rebounding with 209 boards, was third on the team in points scored with 486 points. An All-BIG EAST First Team selection, Maly connected on 70 three-pointers, 178 field goals, dished out 76 assists and collected 22 blocks.
In the classroom the fourth year student posted a 3.95 GPA in Exercise Science with a Pre-Med focus.
Maly became the third CSC Academic All-American in Bluejay Women's Basketball History, joining Becky Flynn (1996) and Carrie Welle (1998).
