Bluejay Men's Soccer Announces Signing of Trio for Spring

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton head men's soccer coach Johnny Torres announced the addition of Etienne Ravelli (Milan, Italy), Bautista Rossi (Rosario, Argentina) and Marco Santana (Miami, Fla.) for the spring season in 2025.
Ravelli is a defender that played club soccer for AC Monza in Italy. The 20-year old played one match for AC Monza, but played 15 matches for Atalanta U18 as well as a combined 27 matches for Team Ticino U18 and U16.
"Etienne is a great defender with experiences in top level academies in Italy. His leadership qualities, competitiveness, and desire to develop make him a very exciting recruit. We are excited to bring him on board, he will surely grit and quality to our backline," said Torres

A transfer from Iona College, Rossi is a forward that played 16 matches last season with 13 starts. He scored eight goals during his freshman season, adding two assists. Rossi's best game saw the Argentinian native scored two goals in a 2-1 win over Manhattan on November 2. Bautista went on to score at least one goal in five consecutive matches from November 2-18.
"Bautista is a dynamic and competitive forward," noted Torres. "He comes from a great academy in Argentina and a great run as a freshman earning himself several awards. He has a great personality and competitive attitude, along with the ability to score goals. We are excited to add him to our team."
Another defender, Santana played club soccer for Miami FC. In addition to having lived in the United State, Marco has spent time in both Italy and Spain. Santana played for Miami FC during the 2024 USL Championship, appearing in seven matches with two starts.
"Marco is a versatile strong defender with the right attributes to be successful in our system," said Torres. "His personality and competitive nature are qualities that we like to have in our players. We are very excited to add him to our team, brings high level experience and desire to develop."
