Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Men's Soccer's Miguel Arilla, Ben Foulks and Ali Ramadan were named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025.
This marks the second consecutive Academic All-District team honor for Ramadan, while it is the first for Arilla and Foulks.
The Bluejays' three honorees are the most by the Creighton Men's Soccer program since five Bluejays were recognized in 2019.
The Bluejays' leading scorer, Arilla is a Communications major with a 3.51 GPA. He was an All-BIG EAST First Team selection with six goals and four assists. Two of his tallies proved to be game-winners, sending in the decisive tally in Creighton's 2-0 win at DePaul and in the 3-1 win at Butler. In the victory at DePaul, Arilla also setup the Bluejays' second goal of the contest. He closed the season appearing in all 16 matches, including 12 starts. He logged a combined 825 minutes on the pitch in 2025.
A defender, Foulks posted a 3.94 GPA while majoring in Physics and Math. On the pitch he saw action in 15 contests, starting 11. Foulks helped guide Creighton's defense to seven shutouts in 2025, logging 694 minutes.
Ramadan delivered a 3.59 GPA in Business Analytics, playing a pivotal role off the bench for Creighton this season. He started the first nine matches of the season, appearing in all 16 contests. Ali logged 647 minutes with one goal on 19 shots during the 2025 campaign. His tally was the game-winner in Creighton's 3-0 win over Oral Roberts on Sept. 13.
Led by Torres, Creighton finished its 2025 season with a 8-4-4 overall record.

Academic standing and eligibility:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
- Student-athletes must be enrolled at their institution at the time of nomination either as undergraduates or graduate students. Only the school at which an athlete competed in the current academic year can nominate that player.
- Student-athletes who have graduated from their own institution during the current academic year and are not competing in athletics at another institution at the time of nomination are eligible.
- An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
- A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
- The cumulative grade point average may not be rounded up to 3.50.
- Transfer student-athletes are immediately eligible. If your transfer student-athletes (undergraduates or graduates) are in their first semester at your institution, you must use their cumulative undergraduate GPA and cumulative graduate GPA (if grad GPA is applicable) from their former institution — which meets the 3.50 cumulative GPA — to be considered for Academic All-District/Academic All-America status.
Athletic Eligibility:
- Student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
