
Mondiri Earns United Soccer Coaches Association Third Team All-East Region Honors

OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women's soccer senior Ariana Mondiri was named to the United Soccer Coaches Association All-East Region Third Team on Tuesday, Dec. 2
Earning third team honors, Mondiri becomes just the fifth Bluejay since 2013 and just the 11th Bluejay in program history to garner all-region accolades.
The Evry, France native led the Bluejays and ranking tied for seventh in the BIG EAST with 19 points on a team-high eight goals and three assists. Mondiri consistently delivered for Creighton, scoring at least one point in 10 of the Jays' 19 matches this season. Overall, Mondiri netted 16 career goals and dished out six career assists, having logged more than 2,700 minutes as a Bluejay.
Last month, Mondiri collected All-BIG EAST First Team honor for a second straight season, becoming just the sixth Bluejay since joining the BIG EAST in 2013 to earn multiple all-conference recognitions. She was joined by Azumi Manriki (2023-24), Aida Kardovic (2020-22), Skylar Heinrich (2019-20), Taryn Jakubowski (2018-19) and Lauren Sullivan (2014-16) as the only players to earn multiple All-BIG EAST honors.
In total, 16 members of the BIG EAST Conference were recognized on the United Soccer Coaches Association All-Region Teams.
