Creighton Adds Softball to Premier Club Sports Lineup: Bluejay Athletes Get New Opportunity

Omaha, NE — Creighton University is expanding its Premier Club Sports program to include a Premier Club Women's Softball team, giving student-athletes yet another way to compete and represent the Bluejays. The addition reflects growing student interest and the University's commitment to offering diverse athletic opportunities beyond varsity sports.
As with other Premier teams, the Softball program will feature professional coaching, official Bluejay uniforms, and organized practices and competitions. The team will travel the country for games, competing both regionally and nationally in the National Club Softball Association.
Introduced in 2025, the Premier Club Sports program was originally launched with men's and women's hockey, lacrosse, and golf — providing structured, coach-led competition at a level between traditional club play and NCAA athletics.
