Omaha, Neb. -- Having climbed back into the national rankings for the first time since the preseason poll, No. 24 Creighton Women's Basketball faces Georgetown on Saturday, February 15 on FS1 at 3:00 p.m.

Seniors Lauren Jensen (18.0 ppg) and Morgan Maly (17.5 ppg) guide the Bluejay offense, but Creighton has received significant contributions from seniors Molly Mogensen, Jayme Horan, Mallory Brake and Brooke Littrell. The seven seniors combine to average 59.7 of Creighton's 73.8 ppg (80.9%).
Creighton is at its best when the Bluejays move the basketball and take care of the rock. Creighton enters the game with Georgetown averaging 17.5 assists per game and just 11.3

Bluejays One Win from Equaling Second Best 25-Game Start
At 20-4, Creighton has a chance to equal the 21-4 mark last season through 25 games. Creighton opened the 1991-92 season at 28-3 under Bruce Rasmussen. The 1991-92 team went on to close the season at 28-4, falling in its second game of the NCAA Tournament.
Maly Consecutive Double-Doubles Gives Her 10
Battling a cold that held her out of practice the day before, senior Morgan Maly delivered her second consecutive double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds in Creighton's 70-57 win at Villanova on Feb. 8. Three days earlier she posted 16 points and 10 rebounds in Creighton's 72-56 win over Seton Hall on Feb. 5. It was the first time in her career that Maly secured back-to-back double-doubles. The last Bluejay to do so in three consecutive games was Sarah Nelson during the 2013-14 season (Jan. 28 - Feb. 5 against Seton Hall, Villanova and Georgetown).
Maly Claims Second BIG EAST Player of the Week Honor
Bluejay senior Morgan Maly claimed her second BIG EAST Player of the Week honor of the season, announced on Monday, February 10. She also collected the award on January 13. Maly guided Creighton to a 2-0 record last week with consecutive double-doubles in victories over Seton Hall (72-56 on February 5)
and at Villanova (70-57 on February 8). Morgan delivered 16 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in the win over the Pirates, while posted 23 points and 10 rebounds against the Wildcats. For the week Maly averaged 19.5 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 2.5 apg during the week, notching her second and third double-doubles of the season. During her career it was Morgan's ninth and 10th double-double. She closed the two-game stretch shooting 15-of-33 (45.5%), including 4-of-12 (33.3%) from long range.
Bluejay WBB Returns to Polls For First Time Since Preseason
Victories in 11 of the past 12 games have pushed Creighton Women's Basketball back into the AP Poll for the first time since mid October as the Bluejays were slotted No. 24 in the poll, released on Monday, February 10. One day later the USA Today/Coaches Poll had Creighton at No. 25.
With a record of 20-4 the Bluejays have also amassed an 12-1 mark in BIG EAST play. Creighton is 7-0 in BIG EAST road games, including a 70-57 win at Villanova on Saturday, February 8. The Bluejays' lone loss in the last 12 games came against No. 6 Connecticut (72-61) on Jan. 25.
Maly Sets Bluejays' Three-Point Record
With two treys against Providence on Saturday, February 2 Morgan Maly became Creighton's career record holder with 311 made three-pointers, passing Bluejay great Kathy Halligan (1988-92) at 309 three-point field goals made.
Creighton Clinches BIG EAST Tournament Bye
With five games remaining, the Bluejays have officially clinched a bye into the second round. At 12-1 Creighton can finish no worse that 12-6, that would still earn the Bluejays a top-five seed and thus a bye to the second day of the BIG EAST Tournament.
Creighton Average Attendance on Record Pace
The senior laden group has helped the Bluejay program set a record pace for attendance. With three home games remaining Creighton is averaging 2,710 per game. The previous record came in 2002-03 with 1,861.
