Bluejay Softball Announces 2025 Promotional Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. -- With the 2025 Creighton softball home opener less than a week away, the Bluejays announced the promotional schedule for the upcoming season.

The Bluejays have 22 home games scheduled during the 2025 season, including contests with non-conference foes Kansas City, Seattle, St. Thomas, and Omaha, as well as home BIG EAST Conference series versus Connecticut, Butler, St. John's and Seton Hall.

Promotion highlights include a movie themed weekend featuring 30th anniversaries for Toy Story and League of their Own with themed giveaway items for each of those days. Creighton will host their heroes weekend for the weekend series against Connecticut with appreciation for first responders & doctors on Friday, March 28th at 4:00 p.m., Military on Saturday, March 29th at 4:00 p.m., and Educators on Sunday, March 29th at 11:00 a.m. Other activations include a Women's History Month celebration, purple out cancer awareness game, and alumni weekend/CU Complex farewell.

The Lil' Jays night is set for April 1st at 6:00 p.m. as CU hosts Omaha in which each kid will receive a BINGO card to complete during the game. BINGO's will be award during and after the game at the marketing table.

Running promotions for the year include:
Trading Card Friday: Grab your favorite Bluejay player's trading card! Select players will be featured at each Friday matchup.
Sunday Runday: Youth, under the age of 12, can run the bases at the conclusion of the March 30th and April 13th games! Please, wear tennis shoes if you plan to participate.
Anthem Buddies: Youth teams, under the age of 12 can sign up to become anthem buddies during CU Softball games! After the game their will be an opportunity to do a picture on the field as well as post game autographs! Sign your team up by clicking here!
