Morgan Maly Earns Second Consecutive CSC Academic All-America Honor

Austin, Texas -- For the second consecutive season Bluejay women's basketball player Morgan Maly received one of the highest honors for a student-athlete as the Nebraska native was recognized as an Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday, April 15.
Entering the spring with a 3.93 GPA as she works toward a pre-med degree in exercise science at Creighton, Maly earned Second Team honors this season. Last year Morgan was a Third Team selection. On the court Maly closed her Creighton career as the Bluejays' three-point leader with 333 made treys. She finished second in points scored with 2,072, including a career-best 571 this season. Appearing in several career lists, Morgan is the free-thrown percentage record holder at Creighton, hitting 87.8% of her shots from the charity stripe (223-of-254) and closed her career with 801 rebounds.
