OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton women's soccer team added to its 2026 signing class on Tuesday as head coach Jimmy Walker announced the signing of Elkhorn native Blu Keiper.
"We are pleased to have Blu added to our Creighton roster," said Walker. "Blu is an extremely talented midfielder with a great engine, excellent technical skills and a strong tactical IQ. She has had a tremendous amount of success in her high school and club career and is a player that we see can have an immediate impact within our system here at Creighton."
Keiper comes to Creighton following an outstanding prep career at Elkhorn South High School, where she guided the Storm to 50 wins, a pair of Class A District 5 championships and a runner-up finish in the 2026 Class A State Championships. Over the course of her career, Keiper recorded 42 goals and 32 assists in 70 career games with the Storm.
As a senior, Keiper earned Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star First Team All-State honors after netting 11 goals and dishing out a team-high 15 assists as Elkhorn South claimed a Class A District 5 championship and was the Class A State Runner-up. In addition, Keiper was named the captain of the All-Metro Team and set a new single-game school record with four assists in an 8-1 win over St. Albert's.
Keiper shined early in her prep career, garnering First Team All-State, All-Metro and All-Nebraska honors as a junior and was an Omaha World Herald Class A Second Team All-State selection as a sophomore. A two-time captain, Keiper played club soccer for the Kansas City Athletics 2008 ECNL team under the direction of Marcus Kelcher.
"Blu has the potential to be a very successful collegiate player with aspirations of becoming a pro, and are excited to have her here at Creighton," finished Walker.
Keiper joins a talented group of Bluejay newcomers this fall that includes incoming freshman Adeline Bosiljevac (Papillion, Neb.) Radleigh Childers (Grain Valley, Mo.), Aubrey Lane (New Berlin, WI) and Gabby Wagenfuhr (Omaha, Neb.) as well as Nebraska transfer Taylor Yablonski.
