The Creighton Women's Basketball and Volleyball programs have continued to find great success both on and off the court. The volleyball team captured their third consecutive BIG EAST regular-season and tournament titles after going a perfect 18-0 in regular-season conference play. The program made its second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance and advanced to the Elite Eight. Creighton Volleyball finished the year ranked a program-best ninth. In an inaugural conference tournament appearance in 2016, the Women's Basketball team advanced to the BIG EAST Conference Tournament championship game. This season, the Bluejays were picked as the favorite to win the BIG EAST Conference regular-season title and they look to make their 10th straight postseason appearance.
The Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center and D.J. Sokol Arena have been the home of great success for our women's basketball and volleyball programs since 2009. The 78,134 square-foot facility houses coaches' offices, locker rooms, the athletic ticket office, athletic training room, meeting rooms and luxury lounge for our student-athletes.
