Creighton Athletics Ticket Donation Program

What is the Bluejay Ticket Donation Program?
Creighton Athletics is excited to announce a new donation program for Creighton Men's Basketball! Got a game you can't make and don't want to hassle with reselling them on your own? You can now donate them back to the Creighton Ticket Office! Doing so will grant you a tax receipt for the face value of the tickets (and Jaybacker fee per game) that you donate back. It will be up to you and your tax professional when deciding the actual amount to report.
We will attempt to re-sell the tickets you donated back on the primary or secondary market, or provide for community groups to fill the seats with other Creighton fans. Essentially, you are reinvesting in Creighton men's basketball to help provide us with the resources needed to compete for a Big East Championship. Furthermore, since the Jaybacker fee isn't tax deductible, donating tickets you don't plan to use back to the athletic department is a new way for you to write-off part of your ticket expense for the games you don't attend.
Online on your MyCreighton account when signed in. Tickets must be returned ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE GAME OF CHOICE.
1. When viewing your tickets on your phone or computer, select the More/More Ticket Actions button.
2. Select the Donate Tab.
3.Select the Creighton Athletic Ticket Office
4.Pick the seats you want to donate and you're done!
The receipt will include a description of the ticket donation for the specific game(s) that you donated back. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your gift. Please consult with your professional advisor when determining the deductibility of your charitable contribution.
You will receive one receipt in the middle of January for any donations during 2025 and then receive a second receipt in March for any donations at the end of this current season.
At this time, we are only accepting tickets from Men's Basketball but plan to expand in the future!
Credit and refunds will NOT be given for tickets donated to the program.
