- Townsend made an appearance in all 33 games over her junior year, ending the season with 190 points, 72 rebounds and 29 assists.
- In the Bluejays' third game of the season, on Nov. 14, Townsend surpassed her previous career-high 14 points with 16 points at Kansas State.
- Townsend racked up a season-high three made triples in Creighton's 68-64 victory over Butler on New Year's Day.
- A near-perfect 4-5 FG shooting outing from Townsend helped the Bluejays defeat the Blue Demons 92-71 on Jan. 18.
- Townsend grabbed a season-high six rebounds in the Bluejays' second matchup with Seton Hall on Feb. 5.
- Townsend saw 27 minutes in the nail-biter 65-63 Bluejay victory over St. John's on Feb. 19, the appearance just one minute shy of tying her career-high 28 minutes.
- Kennedy contributed five of Creighton's 12 points in a crucial 12-2 run down the stretch at DePaul to help the Bluejays to a 83-74 victory on Feb. 23.
- Townsend tallied double figure points five times throughout the season, scoring 16 at Kansas State, 10 vs UCLA, 11 at St. John's, 10 vs DePaul and 10 vs Seton Hall.

2023-24 (Sophomore)
- Townsend appeared in 31 games during her sophomore season, closing the campaign with 123 points, 74 rebounds and 29 assists.
- Kennedy contributed eight points and four rebounds in Creighton’s season-opening win over North Dakota State, 75-52, on Nov. 6.
- With a pair of three-pointers in the Bluejays’ 57-46 win over Georgia Tech on Nov. 23 in the Cancun Challenge.
- Townsend was a perfect 3-for-3 with eight points and three assists in Creighton’s 115-62 win over Northern Iowa on Dec. 3.
- Kennedy knocked down a pair of treys to help the Bluejays rally for a 58-46 win over South Dakota State on Dec. 21.
- In her best game as a Bluejay, Townsend scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds in Creighton’s 67-56 win over St. John’s on Dec. 30.
- Kennedy equaled a career-high with six rebounds to help the Bluejays defeat DePaul, 75-68, on Jan. 3.
- On the floor for a career-high 28 minutes, Townsend delivered six points, six rebounds and two assists in a 77-72 win at Georgetown on Jan. 24.
- Knocking down a pair of treys, Kennedy finished with six points in Creighton’s 75-65 win over Butler on Feb. 4.
- Townsend closed the Bluejays’ 88-59 win over DePaul with 10 points on 3-for-3 shooting, while grabbing four rebounds

- Townsend saw action in 30 games, playing 250 minutes and scoring 61 points.
- Kennedy collected 25 rebounds and 16 assists, with one block and three steals.
- Kennedy got her first points, draining a trey at Northern Iowa on Nov. 20.
- Townsend dished out four assists in 16 minutes to help Creighton down Omaha 93-71 on Nov. 22
- Kennedy delivered a career-high nine points in 19 minutes at St. John’s on Dec. 4.
- Townsend knocked down a pair of treys, finishing with seven points in Creighton’s 75-34 win over Georgetown on Feb. 18.
- Kennedy connected of 3-of-5 from the field, including a pair of treys in Creighton’s 74-46 win in the regular season finale over Butler on Feb. 27.
Park Hill High School
- Townsend was a three-time All-State First Team selection, closing her Park Hill career with a school record 1,680 points.
- Kennedy was a four-time All-District 6 and All-Suburban Conference First Teamer, also earning the Trojans team MVP in all four of her seasons at Park Hill HS.
- Townsend was a Direnna Award Finalist (presented to the top high school boys and girls basketball player in the Kansas City area).
- Following her high school career, Kennedy was a McDonald’s All-America nominee.
- In the classroom Townsend posted a 4.0 GPA.
Personal
- Her mother, Jenny, played basketball at Saint Louis and Pittsburg State. She went on to be enshrined in the Pittsburgh State Hall of Fame.
- Kennedy’s father, Rob, played football at Missouri Southern State.
- Her brother, Drew, played for the Missouri State baseball team (2022-23).
- Favorite sport to watch is Basketball.
- Favorite Omaha restaurant is Taco Co.
- If she didn't play basketball, she would have played volleyball.
