2022 (Junior at Creighton)
Building upon a national championship at Iowa Western CC in 2021, Probo guided Creighton back to the College Cup last season ... He started each of Creighton’s 24 matches, logging the third most minutes with 1,992 on the pitch .... Giorgio closed the season earning United Soccer Coaches Association All-East Region Third Team, an All-BIG EAST Third Team selection and claimed a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team ... He notched five goals and finished with a team-best 14 assists ... The assist total was also the second best in the NCAA ... After tallying one assist in the Bluejays’ 6-0 win over Oakland (Aug. 25), Probo delivered three helpers in the Bluejays’ 6-1 win over Rutgers on Aug. 28 ... He also notched multi-assist contests in Creighton’s 6-0 win over Omaha (Sept. 14) and in the Bluejays’ 3-0 win over DePaul on Oct. 29 ... Probo’s five goals came in five different contests, including the 3-0 win over Georgetown in the BIG EAST Tournament Final on Nov. 13 ... His final goal of the season proved to be the game-winner in Creighton’s 2-1 victory over Tulsa in the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 26.

Probo was the United Soccer Coaches Association Junior College DI Player of the Year in 2021 and was a JUCO All-American, leading the Reivers to the National Championship.

Before coming to the States, Giorgio graduated from Istituto Papi.

The son of Ida Locatelli and Walter Probo, Giorgio has two siblings: Giovanna and Giacomo ... He is pursuing a degree in healthy lifestyle management.
