O’Neill completed his second season as the Bluejays’ captain, starting each of the 16 matches he appeared in ... Following the 2023 campaign O’Neill earned All-BIG EAST Third Team honors ... Throughout the season, Mark logged better than 1,369 minutes ... After missing the season opener due to injury, Mark played the full 90 minutes in 13 of Creighton’s final 14 contests ... His two assists came in consecutive matches helping Creighton defeat No. 7 Akron 3-2 on Oct. 18 and at Seton Hall on Oct. 14.
2022 (Sophomore at Creighton)
The anchor of Creighton’s back line, Mark played a combined 1,637 minutes over 20 matches ... He started 19 contests, tallying four goals on 22 shots ... O’Neill notched goals in two of the Bluejays’ first three matches, scoring in Creighton’s 6-1 win over Rutgers (Aug. 28) and again in the 2-2 draw with San Diego State (Sept. 5) ... O’Neill and the Bluejay defense limited Oakland and Rutgers to just one goal in the first two contests, elevating Mark to the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week ... O’Neill also tallied goals in two of the final three regular season contests ... He delivered the game-winning goal in Creighton’s 2-0 win over Butler (Oct. 30), then scored in the fourth minute of the Bluejays’ 2-1 win over No. 16 Providence (Nov. 3).
2020 (Freshman at Creighton)
Played in all 12 matches, including 11 starts in rookie campaign at Creighton ... Ranked second on the team with 888 minutes ... Recorded first points as a Bluejay with a goal during the opening minutes of the second half at Morrison Stadium against Butler (March 17) ... Did not leave the pitch during three matches and recorded at least 75 minutes of action in six contests.

O’Neill played for Real Colorado and coach Clint Baumstark for four seasons, scoring 15 goals in 54 games ... He helped Real Colorado to the Dallas Cup final and the NPL national final, as well as three regional quarterfinals ... Mark was named to the adidas Dallas Cup U16 All-Star Team in 2017, and also spent time with FC Boulder ... O’Neill was an all-conference performer and a three-year starter on the basketball court in high school, helping his 2019-20 team to the 5A Final Four.

The son of Christine and Colm O’Neill, Mark has five siblings: Darragh, Shane, Enda, Kate and Grace ... His brother, Shane, plays for Toronto FC in his 10th season in the MLS ... Mark’s brother, Darragh, was a punter on the football team at Colorado from 2011-14 ... His brother, Enda, was a captain on the soccer team at Wisconsin (2014-17) and played one season at Villanova (2018), while his sister, Grace, played basketball at Regis ... Mark is pursuing a degree in finance.
