Coming off of an impressive 2020 season, Aida was named to the BIG EAST preseason all-conference team ... She remained at the forefront of Creighton’s offense in 2021, leading the Bluejays with 40 shots and ranked second with a trio of goals scored ... She added two assists and earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors for the second straight season ... Kardovic appeared in 15 matches, making 13 starts while seeing 1,254 minutes of playing time, including a career high 106 minutes of action against Georgetown on Sept. 23 ... Aida notched her first goal of the season by
converting a penalty kick against North Dakota State on Sept. 9 ... She also added a goal against UConn (Oct. 14) and a game-tying goal at Butler on Oct. 28.
2020 (Sophomore):
Getting her first chance on the pitch as a Bluejay, Kardovic took full advantage ... The German native led the Bluejays to its first appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament in 2020 with a team-high
four goals and nine points ... Kardovic appeared in eight of Creighton’s 10 matches during the 2020 season, earning All-BIG EAST First Team and United Soccer Coaches Association All-East Region Second Team honors .. She also collected a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.
2019 (Freshman):
Aida spent the 2019 season as a year in residence at Creighton.
International Soccer:
A member of the 2. Bundesliga club FC Nürnberg in Germany, Kardovic became the first 15-year-old to play for a Bundesliga team when she joined 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam ... She competed with the U17 Serbian National Team from a young age ... Kardovic helped the Serbian National Team reach the final of the European Championships in 2018.

The daughter of Safet and Burhana Kardovic, Aida was born in Kassel, Germany…She has two siblings: Dino and Dalida ... Aida is majoring in psychology and sociology and minoring in women’s and gender studies.
