2018-19 (Junior):
Battling through nagging injuries throughout the season, Agnew shined in the BIG EAST Tournament, scoring 27 points against DePaul (March 11) and delivering 13 points to go with eight rebounds in Creighton’s win over Butler on March 10 ... That performance earned Agnew a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team ... Agnew closed her junior campaign appearing in 27 games, including 26 starts ... Despite missing four games, Agnew was second on the team in scoring with 319 points (11.8 ppg) and led Creighton with 178 rebounds (6.6 rpg) ... Jaylyn delivered 14 points on 5-of-12 from the field in the Bluejays’ season-opening loss to South Dakota on Nov. 7 ... In her first start since Nov. 9, Jaylyn helped the Bluejays’ win 83-71 over Wichita State with a career-high of seven assists on Dec. 8 ... 2017-18 (Sophomore):
Coming off her Freshman of the Year honor, Agnew raised her game as the Kansas native earned an All-BIG EAST Second Team selection and was the Bluejays’ second-leading scorer with 464 points ... Jaylyn started 31 of 32 games as a sophomore, giving way on senior night ... Getting her first start, Jaylyn grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists against Wichita State on Nov. 10 ... Jaylyn torched Nebraska for 20 points, highlighted by a career-best six three-pointers (Nov. 19) ... Agnew remained hot against Northern Iowa, notching her first career double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds on Nov. 21 ... After a scoreless first half, Agnew was 5-for-5 from long range in the third quarter and went on to deliver 20 points in the quadruple overtime win at Drake on Dec. 3 ... Agnew hit eight of her final 12 shots to deliver 21 points in the Bluejays’ victory over South Dakota State on Dec. 15 ... 2016-17 (Redshirt Freshman):
Agnew was electric during her first season on the court, earning the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year honor ... Jaylyn appeared in all 32 contests off the bench, collecting 228 points, 112 rebounds and 47 assists ... Jaylyn wasted little time making an impact with four points and six rebounds in her first game as a Bluejay on Nov. 11 at South Dakota State ... Agnew exploded for 16 points and nine rebounds in Creighton’s battle with Northern Iowa on Dec. 10 ... She closed the game 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-6 from long range ... Jaylyn posted 10 points, three steals and four blocks in Creighton’s 67-52 win over Butler on Dec. 28 ... Agnew reached a new height in her young career, dropping 21 points in 34 minutes at No. 23 DePaul on Jan. 4 ... Jaylyn followed her performance against the Blue Demons by making three game-saving plays in the 70-68 overtime win versus Georgetown on Jan. 8 ... In the win over the Hoyas, Agnew grabbed an offensive rebound with 20.5 seconds remaining in regulation then nabbed a steal on the final play of regulation to force overtime. In the extra session she blocked another Georgetwon shot with 26.5 seconds left in the extra frame ... Jaylyn was also pivotal in the Bluejays’ other overtime victory (70-60 at Seton Hall on Jan. 22) finding Lauren Works open on the right wing with 13 seconds left in regulation to force an extra session ... Against Marquette (Jan. 29), Jaylyn delivered 12 points and three rebounds, playing virtually the entire fourth quarter as the Bluejays rallied from a 77-72 deficit in the final minute to claim an 80-77 victory ... Just after receiving her BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Trophy, Jaylyn showed why she picked up the hardware with 16 points and six rebounds in the Bluejays’ 64-55 win over Butler to advance to the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals on March 5.

Agnew came to Creighton with the No. 100 ranking by ESPN’s HoopGurlz Top 100 Recruits of 2015-16 ... Jaylyn averaged 17.4 points per game and earned All-State honors in Class 5A while leading Andover to the No. 4 spot in the final rankings during her senior season ... A four-year starter for the Trojans, Agnew was a three-time conference MVP ... A three-time First Team selection in the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League, she also earned a spot on the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association First Team as a senior and Second Team as a junior ... As a junior she averaged 14.3 points, leading the Trojans to a 17-6 record ... During her sophomore season, Agnew averaged 13.3 points while shooting 53 percent from the field ... Outside of basketball, Agnew was a four-time champion in the Class 5A high jump and also earned the conference MVP honor in volleyball during her junior season ... Jaylyn is Andover’s career leader in solo blocks and kills in volleyball.
