Spending better than half of the season as a defensive midfielder, Roll started each match as a junior ... Emily recorded one goal and two assists as a junior ... She notched assists against Northern Illinois (8/28) and Colorado State (9/20) ... Emily’s goal was the game-winner against Drake on Sept. 22.
2014 (Sophomore):
One of the Bluejay leaders along the backline, Emily started 17 matches and played in every contest as a sophomore ... Despite playing in the back four, Roll collected three points on three assists ... Two of Roll’s assists came in the same match as she set up both of Creighton’s goals in the Bluejays’ comeback win over Nebraska-Omaha on Sept. 21 ... Roll anchored the Bluejay defense as Creighton held the opposition to one goal or less in 12 matches, including five shutouts.
2013 (Freshman):
Roll started every match as a defender in her freshman campaign ... Emily led Creighton in minutes played with 1,630, leaving the pitch in just two matches ... Roll notched her first point as a Bluejay with an assist in Creighton’s 4-0 win over South Dakota on Sept. 13 ... Her assists helped her claim the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honor on Sept. 16 ... Her first goal was one to remember as the Gretna native bent in a corner kick to tie the match with Marquette on Sept. 26.

A local product, Roll came to Creighton from Gretna HS ... Roll led the Dragons to the Nebraska Class B State Title in 2012 and an 18-1 mark ...
