• Nursing major was named to BIG EAST All-Academic Team and Creighton Dean’s List last year.
2024: Sophomore at Creighton
• Averaged 1.00 kills while appearing in 13 sets across 11 matches.
• Hit .393 with 13 kills in 28 swings as a sophomore.
• Made season-debut vs. Rice (Sept. 14), finishing with two kills in three swings.
• Owned career-high four kills in as many attempts against Providence (Sept. 27).
• Saw all the reps on the right side in the first two sets of a 3-0 win vs. Xavier (Oct. 18), finishing with two kills in five swings as well as a block assist.
• Collected a pair of kills and a block assist in 3-0 win at Georgetown (Oct. 25).
• Put down the kill on match point in the Nov. 24 win at Xavier, which completed Creighton’s 18-0 BIG EAST season.
• Earned a spot on Creighton’s Dean’s List.
2023: Freshman at Creighton
• Ava made her collegiate debut in Creighton’s 3-0 victory over No. 16 Purdue (Aug. 26).
• First career kill came on match point in win at Butler (Sept. 22) during her BIG EAST debut.
• Recorded season-high three kills vs. Seton Hall (Oct. 1).
• Had one assist and one dig at UConn (Oct. 20).
• Picked up a kill vs. Xavier (Nov. 17).
• Her lone career start came during the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament, when CU beat Minnesota 3-0 to advance to the program’s first Sweet 16 since 2016.
Olathe West High School
• Chosen as a Second Team AVCA High School All-American in 2022 following her senior campaign.
• Named to the AVCA’s Best and Brightest First Team.
• Named Honorable Mention All-American by Volleyball Magazine.
• Nation’s No. 37 recruit per PrepVolleyball and No. 61 by PrepDig.
• Closed career owning Olathe West’s career record for blocks and both the single-season and career records for aces, kills and hitting percentage.
• Had 949 career kills, averaging 3.18 kills per set, while hitting .292 with 135 aces.
• Named First Team All-Sunflower League in 2022, when she had 275 kills, 116 digs, 36 blocks and hit .363.
• Named Second Team All-Sunflower in 2021 as a junior after compiling 156 kills, 34 aces and 90 digs.
• Recognized as First Team All-Sunflower League as a freshman, when she recorded 292 kills, 167 digs, 55 aces and 29 blocks to help team to a school-record 23 victories.
• Coached by Amy Hoffsommer.
• Trained with USA Volleyball’s National Team Development Program in summer of 2021.
• Committed to Creighton in June of 2021.
