Ava Limbo was hired as Director of Spirit Programs at Creighton in April of 2025.
Limbo was raised in Bennington, Neb., where she trained and competed in dance from age three through her senior year with Kitty Lee Dance Studio. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2022, where she was a member of the nationally-ranked Bearcat Dance Team.Â

After completing her undergraduate program, Ava spent three years traveling nationwide recruiting both undergraduate and graduate students to a private, non-profit university while continuing to teach and choreograph dance. In her role as Creighton’s Director of Spirit Programs, Ava oversees the recruitment and operations for the Bluejays dance team, cheer squad and pep band. Additionally, Limbo is the head Jays dance team coach.Â

"As an Omaha native, it is a privilege and an honor to lead such passionate and talented students who embody the Bluejay spirit.
