Joe Willman joined the Creighton Athletic Department during summer 2012 and presently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast Services. Day-to-day Willman oversees the all broadcast and tech related services of the department. This includes all broadcast platforms - linear and digital to the league's media partners in addition to in-venue videoboards.
Since his arrival at Creighton, Willman has played a key role in the departments transition to the BIG EAST Conference, the athletic rebrand as well as serving as marketing contact for the 2015, 2018 & 2023 NCAA Men's Basketball Championships held at CHI Health Center Omaha.
A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Willman played for the Bears baseball team during his time in Greeley, Colorado. Upon completing his undergraduate degree in business marketing, Willman completed his masters in Sport Administration. Willman currently resides in Omaha with his wife, Brooke.
