Tim MacAllister is in his third year as the video coordinator at Creighton, and fourth season overall with the Bluejay basketball program.
As video coordinator, MacAllister is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team’s film and video needs, including opponent scouting reports and breakdown of game and practice film to create individual and team edits for the Bluejays team and staff.
Before coming to Creighton, he worked at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., where he worked as an assistant to Jason Zimmerman for one season. The Eagles won at No. 1 Wisconsin-Stevens Point to reach the Division III Elite Eight before falling to eventual national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Prior to Emory, MacAllister attended Murray State, where he was a student assistant to Billy Kennedy for one year and Steve Prohm for three seasons. MacAllister worked with current Oklahoma City Thunder guard Isaiah Canaan at Murray State, as well as a pair of All-Americans post players at Emory.
MacAllister earned his bachelor of arts degree from Murray State in Spanish.
He was a Security Forces staff sergeant with the Air National Guard for six years, where he helped coach on the base while overseas for seven months in Kyrgyzstan.
A native of Corcoran, Calif., MacAllister went to Logan County High School in Russellville, Ky., where he played basketball and football.
MacAllister and his wife, Ashley, reside in Lincoln. She is the head rifle coach at Nebraska, and coached Puerto Rico in the 2016 Olympics. The couple has one son, Ezekiel, who was born in September of 2017.
