
Crew Ends Season At The Dad Vail Regatta

In their Women's Frosh/Novice Heavyweight Eight heat race on Friday, the Bluejays took third place with a time of 7:21.96 to advance to the Saturday semi-final. In the semi-finals then on Saturday, the Jays timed in at 7:09.03 which was good enough for a fifth place finish.
The Bluejays also competed in the Women's JV Heavyweight Eight race on the weekend where the Jays came across the buoys at 7:21.12, which was also good enough for a fifth place spot.
In the other event then that the women competed in on the weekend, the Jays took fourth-place in their heat race in the Women's Varsity Heavyweight Eight competition with a time of 7:17.4. That advanced CU to the repecharge race, where the Jays came home with a fifth place finish clocking in at 7:20.2.
The event marked the end of the 2007 season for the Bluejays, as they amassed 10 overall wins in their spring season.
